The Bee Shop is a Toronto-based store that can supply all your honey and bee product needs. Our principal beekeeper; Oliver Couto, is one of the instructors of the introductory beekeeping course at The Bee Shop (where both adult and youth beekeeping programs are available). Former co-chair of the Toronto Beekeepers Collective and longstanding member of the Ontario Beekeepers Association. Oliver was also on the Pollinator Advisory Committee for the City of Toronto and a contributor to the City's popular Bees of Toronto book.
We are distributors of Dutchman's Gold. We have been involved in beekeeping for over 22 years. We promote urban beekeeping and give talks on Apitherapy which is healing with bee products. We hold monthly beeswax candle making workshops.
We are currently a sponsor in the production of the The Sacred Bee film series that significantly explores the spiritual side of the honeybees.
With our rooftop apiary we are a registered Ontario Farm and contribute with our beekeeping and bee themed eductional services to help ensure the nation's food supply.
Closed for all statutory holidays such as: New Years Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Canada Day, Simcoe Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
We are located half a block west of Landsowne Ave. There is parking available in front of the store and across the street. We are about 150 meters from Lansdowne subway station.
